62 yard field goal

29 November 2016 - 09:18 PM

Coach Gary Kubiak decided to kick a 62 yard field goal in the final minutes of Sunday nights game against Kansas City.  Brandon McManus missed the kick and the Chiefs took over on downs. 4 plays later the Chiefs kicked a 34 yard field goal to win the game before time expired.

The Broncos loss puts them in 3rd place in the AFC West and makes the path to the playoffs extremely difficult.

Should the Broncos of kicked the field goal to try and win the game or should they punted the ball pinning the Chiefs deep in their own territory with the hopes of ending the game in the tie?

ESPN Power Rankings

23 September 2016 - 03:48 PM

Broncos move up from #8 to #5 in ESPN Power Rankings.  I think it's too low.  Nemesis New England sits at #1.

How good is the Broncos' defense? Their past five games (including playoffs) have been against Cam Newton (twice), Ben Roethlisberger, Tom Brady and Andrew Luck. Those QBs combined for three passing touchdowns, five interceptions and 21 sacks. Next up? Andy Dalton and the Bengals.

Siemian Starts

26 August 2016 - 08:04 PM

Trevor Siemian will start on Saturday evening versus the Rams, he'll get the majority of the reps with the first team.

No decision yet on who will be the Broncos #2 QB.

Who can follow in Peyton’s footsteps and take the Broncos to another Super Bowl win?

26 April 2016 - 10:25 PM

Broncos fans know that last season will be a tough one to follow up with Peyton Manning leading the team to a spectacular Super Bowl victory. With this victory came Manning’s inevitable retirement, and left fans wondering if Brock Osweiler could carry the torch. Osweiler’s sudden departure left the Broncos without a quarterback and John Elway will need to make some tough decisions to lead the team on a repeat run. There are a few potential quarterbacks that the Broncos must have their eye on, and fans have been going crazy attempting to decipher what John Elway will do next.

One candidate is Sam Bradford, whose trade demand caught Philadelphia Eagles management off guard, despite the fact that Bradford had to be upset. The Eagles would take a hit on finances and Bradford would need to make an adjustment in his contract to restructure on a long-term deal or waive the $4 million guarantee. The problem with Bradford is that he isn’t one of the great quarterbacks, he is injured frequently, and the Eagles are paying him a lot more that what they should; therefore, fans are stating that he may not be the best match for the team.

Another potential quarterback is San Francisco’s Colin Kaepernick, which is the most logical choice for the team as the Los Angeles Rams and the Eagles are expected to draft Jared Goff and Carson Wentz on Thursday. With all of the haggling over salary and contract of the quarterback it is difficult to say where Kaepernick will go, especially with John Elway stating that the trade is dormant.

Brian Hoyer did visit Denver and even took a physical with the team, but Denver is not in a hurry to sign with him at this time. Elway stated that “[Hoyer] is a good football player. We wanted to have him in, meet him and get to know him a little bit. But nothing to report there,” but also stated that “he had a real good year in Houston last year, so he’s a guy who’s a real possibility with us.”

There is one thing Broncos fans know for certain is that we cannot wait to find out who our next franchise quarterback will be, and we will be forever grateful for Peyton Manning giving us the win we needed.
